20-Years-Owned 1951 Willys-Overland CJ-3A

This 1951 Willys-Overland CJ-3A was purchased by the current owner in 2005 and underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in 2012. Work is said to have included overhauling the 134.2ci inline-four, the three-speed manual transmission, and the dual-range transfer case as well as repainting the exterior matte black and refreshing the interior. Equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, a black soft top and soft doors, a tow ball, a folding windshield, lap belts, and a center storage console. This CJ-3A is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Montana title in the owner’s name.

The truck has been repainted matte black and is equipped with a tow ball, a black soft top and soft doors, a folding windshield, and a left side mirror.

Body-color 16″ steel wheels are mounted with STA Super Traxion tires.

The seats were reupholstered in black vinyl, bedliner material was applied to interior surfaces, the floor pans were replaced, and a roll bar and lap belts were installed during the refurbishment.

Instrumentation consists of a 60-mph speedometer accompanied by gauges displaying fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer and fuel gauge do not work. The seller states the mileage is not accurate, and total mileage is unknown.

The 134.2ci L-Head inline-four, the three-speed manual transmission, and the dual-range transfer case were overhauled and the fuel tank was replaced during the refurbishment, per the seller.
