The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, says the airline will not condone unruly behaviours from passengers effect from January 2026.
Onyema gave this warning on Sunday when he featured in an interview on Arise Television monitored by DAILY POST.
“Things Nigerian passengers cannot do outside the country, they do on our aircraft. From January, we will have to start going to court.
“Some of some of the things Nigerian passengers will not do in Cotonou, they will do it here. And it’s unfortunate. If you saw some people that went on our aircraft from London, would they go into British Airways and perform such acts?
“They promoted themselves to business class when they paid for economy. They got there, brought out three bottles of rum and started threatening everybody on the aircraft.
“And when we got here, somebody called me and tried to intervene on their behalf but I said I’m not the one keeping them. The law is keeping them.
“I want to say something we decided to do from January 1. We are no longer going to condone unruly passenger behaviour because we believe that they are being supported by the system,” he said.
