Acquired by the seller in 2025, this pair of Road Runner signs is now offered at no reserve in Dundee, Illinois.
This single-sided sign features a printed rendering of the Road Runner cartoon logo, with the bird holding a white helmet, mimicking the ad campaign created by Jack Smith for Chrysler’s Plymouth Road Runner. Orange, yellow, blue, purple, and white neon tubes accent the sign’s face and are illuminated through 120-volt circuitry using two in-line switches and a pair of three-prong US-style wall plugs. The sign measures approximately 51” tall by 35” wide by 7” deep. The frame is metal and finished in black, and the seller states that pre-drilled mounting holes are found on the back.
This single-sided sign features the outline of the Road Runner’s head in purple and yellow neon tubing with white eyes above blue neon “Beep! Beep!” script. There is a pull cord switch for the 120-volt circuitry, and the sign measures approximately 24″ square.
