Two eyewitnesses in Northwestern Venezuela in an area known for drug trafficking tell NBC News that they saw an explosion on Dec. 18 that destroyed a hut that was possibly used for storage. It is unclear if it’s the same strike that President Donald Trump mentioned which he called a major explosion in the dock area along the shoreline. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
