ALICE H. Reyes was reelected president of the Aliw Awards Foundation Inc. (AAFI) at the foundation’s board meeting on Dec. 18, 2025.
The new board will serve from 2026 to 2027.
Also elected were Birdie Reyes III, first vice president; Aristeo Garcia, second vice president; Tess Tan, secretary; Elna Fabiana, auditor; Ofelia Cajigal, treasurer; Leonora Cabael, assistant treasurer; Joey Nombres, PRO;
Rema Manzano, ex-officio; and trustees Dennis Aguilar, Aisha Reyes, Jory Reyes and Yasmin Reyes.
The new board held its first meeting to plan for the celebration of the foundation’s golden anniversary next year.
Aliw Awards 2026 is set for Dec. 7, 2026.
Also taken up by the board was the Walk of Fame for live entertainers which is targeted for launching around mid-2026.
