409-Powered 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS Sport Coupe 4-Speed

This 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS is a blue-on-blue sport coupe that was produced by GM of Canada and is powered by a replacement 409ci V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. The car rides on 15″ Rally-style wheels and has chrome bumpers, 409 badging, and a dual exhaust system with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers as well as front bucket seats, a push-button radio, and a Hurst shifter. Acquired by the current owner in 2023, this Impala SS is now offered in Arizona on dealer consignment with a clean Minnesota title.

Finished from the factory in Mist Blue, the car has 409 badging, quad headlights, and chrome-finished bumpers.

Rally-style 15″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with coil-spring suspension, and stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in blue vinyl. A Delco push-button AM radio and a Hurst shifter are fitted.

The two-tone steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, and other instrumentation includes a combination gauge, a readout for manifold vacuum, and a 10k-rpm tachometer centrally mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 409ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and is fitted with Edelbrock finned valve covers. The carburetor was rebuilt and the brake master cylinder was replaced in preparation for the sale.

The four-speed manual transmission is paired with a 12-bolt rear end, and the dual exhaust system features Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers.
