This new tablet combining the company’s paper-like display technology with AI productivity features and active stylus support. The 11.5-inch tablet targets students, professionals, and anyone tired of digital eye strain from traditional screens that use OLED or LCD panels.
Unlike other tablet makers, TCL prides itself on its NXTPAPER display technology. The Note AI NXTPAPER takes that and adds extra productivity features. The tablet features a 2200×1440 display with 120Hz refresh rate, while the paper-like surface reduces glare and mimics the feel of actual paper. The included T-Pen Pro active stylus supports pressure sensitivity and works with the tablet’s AI-powered handwriting features. You get handwriting-to-text conversion, handwriting beautification, formula recognition, and one-stroke formation.
AI Features and Performance
The AI integration goes beyond handwriting. Audio-to-text transcription captures lectures and meetings automatically. There’s also real-time translation that could come useful during international video calls or while reading documents. The Inspiration Space AI assistant also helps brainstorm ideas, while AI rewrite and writing assist tools polish your drafts. Similar to TCL’s previous NXTPAPER tablets, the display tech prioritizes eye comfort for extended use sessions.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek G100 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is a built-in 8,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Users can also look forward to cloud storage integration, with support for Dropbox, Google Drive, and Onedrop. There’s also cross-device transfer via LAN, email, or USB. The tablet also supports most text formats including PDF, Word, Excel, EPUB, and MOBI, making it compatible with your existing document library.
TCL bundles the T-Pen Pro stylus with replaceable tips, USB-C cable, and offers optional magnetic keyboard and flip case accessories. The front-button fingerprint sensor keeps your notes secure. At 500g and 5.5mm thin, it stays portable enough for daily commutes. The tablet supports installing third-party apps like Kindle, expanding beyond its built-in capabilities.
