BaT Community!
That was quite a flurry of activity to finish off 2025. We’re proud, and thankful, to say that 2025 represented another in a long string of great years for BaT Auctions, and the ever-expanding BaT Community of buyers, sellers, experts, Local Partners, watchers, commenters, and crazies are what continues to make it happen. As always, our goal is to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to transact in the most transparent, fair, cost-effective, and positive way possible, while optimizing for the integrity and truthfulness that leads to the best buyer and seller outcomes. That is what drives everything we do, and the BaT Team is excited to bring this to even more enthusiasts in 2026!

In 2025, out of 49,486 total listings for the year, we sold 40,465—that’s an 81.8% sale rate—for a grand total of $1.713 billion in sales. These stats represent a 12.9% increase in total auctions, a 16.2% improvement in sold listings, a 3.5% rise in sell-through rate, and a 14.3% hike in total sales dollars compared with 2024. This continued success comes thanks to a number of factors; chief among them, of course, is the consistent support and enthusiasm of our diehard community of buyers, sellers, and commenters. And our small army of expert staff members bring an uncommon level of care and attention to curation, listing assembly, customer service, community management, events, partnerships, and every one of the many, many other tasks without which BaT could not run as well as it does.

The top sale of the year, for those who missed it, was this 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari from our friends at @silverarrowcarsltd. Its unusual shade of Blu Elettrico helped it climb to a sale price of USD $4,475,000 on August 8—the second-highest sale price ever recorded on BaT (and coincidentally the second-highest LaFerrari sale ever recorded on BaT).
January 7th will mark the 19th birthday since we turned on the BaT website and registered the first BaT Community member (me). I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for our company, our community, and all the people who helped get us here, together. Thanks again to all of you!
