This 1976 Porsche 912E is one of approximately 2,100 produced for a single model year and was sold new at Joe Heishman Porsche-Audi in Virginia. The car is finished in Continental Orange over black leatherette upholstery. Power is provided by a 2.0-liter flat-four equipped with dual Weber carburetors and mated to a five-speed manual transaxle, and both the engine and transaxle were overhauled in 2024. Features include 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a CFR-Tangerine exhaust system, a Continental head unit, air conditioning, and a heated rear window. This 912E is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with service records, a tool kit, the owner’s manual, and a clean New York title.

After the Porsche 914 was discontinued, the 912E was offered for the 1976 model year only as a lower-priced alternative to the 911. This example was finished from the factory in Continental Orange and was repainted following the completion of body work in 2016. Paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with images showing blemishes around the body.

The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with 205/55 Yokohama Advan Fleva tires, and 15mm wheel spacers have been added. A space-saver spare is stored in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners. The front control arm bushings were replaced in October 2024. The seller notes that the wheels are scratched.

Black leatherette upholstery and orange stitching covers the front bucket seats. Appointments include a Continental head unit, air conditioning that has been converted to use R134a, and a heated rear window.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that consists of a centrally mounted tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 101k miles.

The 2.0-liter flat-four has been fitted with dual Weber carburetors and was overhauled in 2024 before being reinstalled in October 2025. CB Performance X-Beam Super Race connecting rods were added and the carburetors were refreshed during the overhaul. A replacement fuel pump was also installed in 2025 and the oil was changed in December 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 923 five-speed manual transaxle, which was overhauled in 2024. A CFR-Tangerine EVO street exhaust system has been installed, and the rear axles were replaced in 2020.
