This 1946 Plymouth Special Deluxe Club Coupe is finished in black over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 218ci inline-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The car rides on red-painted 15″ wire-spoke wheels and is further equipped with an independent front suspension, drum brakes, a two-piece windshield, chrome bumpers, an AM radio, lap belts, and a cabin heater. Acquired by the current owner in 2025, this Plymouth is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a Delaware title.
The car is finished in black and features a hood ornament, turn signals, a yellow-lens GE fog light, a driver-side mirror, body-side moldings, bright lower-body cladding, a telescoping antenna, a chrome exhaust deflector, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Red-painted 15″ wire-spoke wheels wear chrome trim rings and are wrapped in old 205/75 radial tires. The car is equipped with independent front suspension, and braking is provided by drums at all four corners.
The cabin features a split-back front bench seat and a rear bench that are trimmed in gray cloth that extends to the door panels. A headlight-dimming sensor is mounted atop the dashboard, and an Everlasting turn-signal switch is affixed to the steering column. Additional appointments include a push-button AM radio, front lap belts, an Arvin heater, a locking glove compartment, sun visors, a dome light, and gray carpeting.
The three-spoke steering wheel has a horn ring and fronts a 100-mph speedometer flanked by gauges displaying oil pressure, amperage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership.
The 218ci L-head inline-six is fed through a single-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 95 horsepower. The battery was replaced and the oil was changed in December 2025.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is noted on underbody components, additional photos of which are viewable in the gallery.
The car’s chassis number is 20174171, as shown on the topmost of the three images seen above. The Delaware title cites as the VIN the sequence displayed on the lower two tags: S31091KAN.
