Why do I see this woman talking about how to write a good story when she absolutely dropped the ball with the avatar game story. It’s predictable, unimaginative, boring, and just lazy, despite being adapted from extremely rich source material. While I know this is a Ubisoft project and that company is all of those things and more, the story is so dull and bland that it falls on the narrative director, which was Megill. Wouldn’t say anything, but now she’s the lead writer for the cyberpunk sequel. WTF! That’s like giving the keys to someone who just failed their drivers test. Does anyone else feel frustrated with either the avatar story or the fact that Megill is tapped to do the cyberpunk sequel?
