MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday launched the Project AGAP.AI, the Department of Education’s (DepEd) flagship program for all artificial intelligence (AI)-related initiatives in basic education.
The President was accompanied by Education Secretary Sonny Angara and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte during the launch at the Quezon City Science High School in Quezon City.
Known as “Accelerating Governance and Adaptive Pedagogy through Artificial Intelligence,” the project promotes the responsible, ethical and human-centered integration of AI to support teaching and learning, enhance digital readiness and strengthen education governance.
