This 2000 Land Rover Discovery II was the subject of a custom build by Overland Projects of Los Angeles, California, that was completed in 2022. Work included repainting the body in Arles Blue with an Arctic White roof, retrimming the interior in beige Italian leather with Pendleton Sunbrella patterned fabric inserts, retrofitting a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a ZF four-speed automatic transmission, and installing a Terrafirma lift kit along with 16″ steel wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. Further equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, four-wheel disc brakes, an Atlantic British front bumper, a Tactical 4×4 rear bumper, a Voyager Racks roof rack, auxiliary off-road lights, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a custom audio system, and a Pioneer head unit. Acquired by its current owner in 2022, this Discovery II has 171k miles and is now offered by the seller with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and Connecticut registration in the current owner’s name.
The truck was refinished in Arles Blue with an Arctic White roof as part of the aforementioned build in 2022. The Atlantic British front bumper and Tactical 4×4 rear bumper have been powder-coated charcoal gray, and the 10k-lb Warn winch is recessed into the custom grille. Further details include a Voyager Racks roof rack and rear ladder, LED auxiliary lights, HELLA off-road lights, dual fuel cans, and a receiver hitch.
Arctic White—finished 16″ steel wheels are wrapped in 235/85 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and a matching spare is stationed on the rear carrier. The truck rides on a 2″ Terrafirma lift kit and is equipped with four-wheel traction control as well as four-wheel disc brakes with an Electronic Brake Distribution system.
The power-adjustable front seats and rear seats are trimmed in beige Italian leather with Pendleton Sunbrella patterned fabric inserts and brown piping, and color-matching material extends to the door panels. Sound-deadening material has been applied under the tan-rolled German weave carpets, and appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear cargo cover, JBL front door speakers, Stag audio components, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer head unit with a flip-up screen and front- and rear-view camera displays. Water damage is evident on the headliner.
The two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 135-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The Service Engine Soon light is illuminated. The digital odometer indicates 171k miles, approximately 30k of which have been added under current ownership.
The replacement 4.6-liter was installed as part of the build and is said to be equipped with a Bosch ECU chip.
Power is routed to all four wheels through a ZF four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The truck is being sold on its Connecticut registration, which serves as the ownership document in Connecticut. The document carries an “Antique” notation under the Registered Usage field.
