1976 International Harvester Scout II Terra 345 4×4

This Fire Orange 1976 International Harvester Scout II 4×4 is a Terra pickup that had been off the road for several years in Arizona before it was acquired by the seller around 12 years ago. They tell us that subsequent recommissioning included a repaint, replacing its carpets and stereo, rebuilding the carburetor for its 345ci V8, cleaning its gas tank and radiator, and servicing its power brakes. The truck features a three-speed automatic transmission, lifted suspension, power steering, American Racing 15″ wagon wheels, a JVC stereo with Bluetooth, and air conditioning. This Scout II Terra is now offered with an Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The Scout II Terra was introduced for the 1976 model year and featured a pickup-style body with a 118″ extended wheelbase. This one was refinished in Fire Orange with a white removable cab top in 2012, per the seller, and it has swing-out mirrors, black wheel arch extensions, and a bedliner-coated cargo box.

The truck has lifted suspension with Rough Country springs, and the American Racing 15″ wagon-style wheels are mounted with 235/75 Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S tires. Vacuum-assisted front disc brakes with ventilated rotors are paired with rear drums for stopping power.

The bench is trimmed in Saddle vinyl, and the cab has air conditioning as well as a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and a USB port. Some upholstery damage is noted on the driver’s seat.

The woodgrain instrument panel has a 120-mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing 52k miles, ~6k of which were added under current ownership.

The seller reports that the V8 displaces 345ci. The mill has an aluminum radiator and a dual exhaust system, and it sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 20 two-speed transfer case.

Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.

The Arizona title has a Not Actual Mileage odometer notation.
