This 1972 BMW Bavaria 3.0 S was initially sold in Indiana and remained under single-family ownership until the seller’s acquisition in 2025. Finished in Sahara over tan upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes dual Zenith carburetors, disc brakes, 16″ alloy wheels, quad headlights, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, and crank windows. Work performed under current ownership included changing the oil, rebuilding the carburetors, replacing the alternator, refinishing the exterior, and retrimming the front seats. This E3 Bavaria shows 32k miles and is offered at no reserve with a service manual, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The front bucket seats were retrimmed under current ownership in tan vinyl and are joined by a rear bench. Appointments include air conditioning, all-weather floor mats, and crank windows. Cracks are visible on the dashboard.
The three-spoke steering wheel has cracks and wears an aftermarket wrap. Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Auxiliary gauges for amperage and oil pressure are housed in the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.0-liter M30B30 inline-six was factory rated at 170 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque and features dual Zenith carburetors. Work performed under current ownership included changing the oil, rebuilding the carburetors, and replacing the alternator. The seller notes sluggish cold starts, and the engine runs on for several seconds after the ignition is turned off.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
