This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished under previous ownership and is refinished in orange with white stripes over black vinyl upholstery. Power is provided by a replacement 327ci V8 equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and headers, and it is linked with a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. Equipment includes a rear spoiler, a cowl induction hood, 15″ American Racing wheels, an aftermarket stereo, and air conditioning. This Camaro coupe was acquired by the seller in 2024 and is now offered with recent invoices and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
The body left the factory in British Green (Z) with a black vinyl roof cover, and has been refinished in orange with white stripes. Features include a cowl induction hood, an RS-badged fuel cap, dual side mirrors, a rear spoiler, and a replacement grille and chrome bumpers.
The 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by drum brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include an aftermarket stereo, a center console, a B&M shifter, and air conditioning. The cruise control is disconnected. A tear in the seat near the floor and rust with perforations in the trunk on the left side are shown in the gallery.
A W-Power steering wheel frames a disconnected 120-mph speedometer, an inaccurate fuel-level gauge, and an Autogage tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 750 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 327ci V8 is said to be equipped with a larger camshaft, and has exhaust headers, Mallory ignition, and an Edelbrock intake manifold and dual four-barrel carburetors. Invoices for the work are shown at the end of the gallery. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The air intake gaskets need to be replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and a Positraction differential.
