This 1972 Volvo 1800E was refurbished under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2016. Finished in Sun Yellow over black leather, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes electronic ignition, Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, a sport exhaust system, Bilstein dampers, disc brakes, 15″ wire-spoke wheels, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, crank windows, and a retro-style stereo. This 1800E shows 75k miles and is offered with a spare overdrive transmission, blower fan motor, and a removed Blaupunkt head unit as well as a car cover, an owner’s manual, a tool kit, service records, and a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished under previous ownership in Sun Yellow (107). Exterior details include a driver-side mirror, quarter vent windows, bright trim, chrome bumpers, and twin exhaust outlets with polished rolled-edge finishers. The seller notes inconsistent body gaps around the doors.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire-spoke wheels are mounted with Falken Ziex ZE512 tires. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle featuring Bilstein dampers. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The 2.0-liter B20F inline-four was factory rated at 125 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque and features a Crane Cams Fireball XR700 electronic ignition, Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, and a sport exhaust system. Work performed in 2017 included replacing the thermostat, oil pressure switch, and coolant temperature sensor, while service in preparation for the sale consisted of changing the oil and recharging the air conditioning system with R134a refrigerant.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The seller notes leaking fluid from the transmission, and additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.
