This 2010 Ariel Atom 3 has been fitted with carbon-fiber bodywork from Pathfinder Motorsports, and other modifications include a revised exhaust system, aftermarket instrumentation, and a built-in radar detector. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter Honda K20A inline-four linked with a six-speed manual transaxle, and it rides on multi-spoke staggered wheels and adjustable coilovers. Other details include Wilwood brakes, a quick-release steering wheel, a fire-suppression system, a roll bar, and black racing seats equipped with Sabelt harnesses. Acquired by the seller in 2015, his Atom 3 is now offered in Alaska with a Florida title in the seller’s name.
The seller notes that the carbon-fiber bodywork was sourced from Pathfinder Motorsports, and components include the nose, cowl, engine deck, rear wing, and fenders. The chassis is constructed of MIG-welded tubular steel and features a roll structure with forward, rearward, and cross bracing.
Multi-spoke wheels measure 15″ up front and 17″ out back and are mounted with 205/50 and 285/40 Kumho Ecsta tires, respectively. Multilink independent suspension with pushrod actuation utilizes tubular control arms along with adjustable coilovers. Red Wilwood calipers are fitted over slotted rotors at all four corners.
A roll bar protects the cockpit, which houses a pair of black racing seats fitted with Sabelt harnesses along with a fire-suppression system and a built-in radar detector.
The steering wheel is mounted on a quick-release hub and wrapped in microsuede with a yellow centering stripe. The carbon-fiber instrument cluster houses a yellow-dial 10k-rpm tachometer, a 200-mph Speedhut GPS speedometer, and controls for brake bias and various vehicle functions. A trio of auxiliary gauges is centrally located in the dash. The digital odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.0-liter Honda K20A inline-four is backed by a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A modified exhaust system is installed.
