Can you help me find this game?

So today I had a random memory about my uncle playing a game when I was little. It’s a very old game (I was born in 1991), so the game was played between 1992 and 1998. I don’t remember anything about the game. It was a turn base combat game, and I only remember one specific thing: a spell about a dragon going all over the place and reducing ps to oponents (I think it was a fire dragon). I also remember that the place where the combat took place was like an entire world (this I’m not really sure, but I think it was). I don’t remember anything else, sorry, but I wanted to check the game, so if anyone can help me it would be much apreciated.

More info: It has the vibe of Breath of Fire, but it’s not this one. I remember the fight my uncle was playing had a lot of characters in the combat, like in an xcom format or something. It resembles FF advanced tactics, but much older.
