This Factory Five Racing roadster is powered by a Vortech-supercharged 5.0-liter V8, and the engine is backed by a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 8.8″ rear end. Finished in silver with black stripes and a black roll hoop, the car rides on 17″ American Racing wheels and has four-wheel disc brakes, a side-exit exhaust system, a hood scoop, and quick-jack bumperettes. The cockpit houses low-back bucket seats trimmed in black, harnesses, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. The car is believed to have been completed in 2005 and it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. This Cobra replica is now with a Florida title describing the vehicle as a 2005 ASPT.
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in Silver with black stripes and a black roll hoop. Equipment includes a hood scoop, quick-jack bumperettes, and side-exit exhaust pipes.
American Racing 17″ wheels are mounted with Falken tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs, and the car has power steering.
The pair of low-back bucket seats is upholstered in black and equipped with harnesses. A rearview mirror sits atop the dashboard.
A Cobra-logo center cap adorns the wood-rimmed steering wheel. Black-dial AutoMeter instrumentation housed in the textured dashboard includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter V8 is equipped with a Vortech supercharger as well as a Trick Flow upper intake manifold, Trick Flow valve covers, and MSD ignition. The engine is backed by a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 8.8″ rear end with a 3.55 gear set.
