1986 Toyota Pickup Turbo 4×4 5-Speed

This 1986 Toyota Pickup 4×4 was purchased by the seller’s father in 1994 and shows 104k miles after the seller’s acquisition in 2020. It is finished in Light Yellow over brown cloth and vinyl and is powered by a turbocharged and fuel-injected 2.4L 22R-TE inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes side graphics, 15″ 12-hole alloy wheels, a Kenwood eXcelon CD stereo, Pioneer speakers, and air conditioning. This Toyota pickup is offered with a repair manual, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Light Yellow (557) with side graphics and features a bug shield, black wheel arch flares, mud flaps, a sliding rear window, and a drop-in bedliner. The windshield was replaced in 2011, and rust was repaired on the bed, tailgate, fenders, and right side in 2012. A January 2025 entry on the Carfax report notes damage, which the seller attributes to the truck getting broken into. Part of the sliding rear window is missing, there is rust-through on the right rear wheel well, and there are areas of flaking paint and corrosion around the body.

The 15″ 12-hole alloy wheels are mounted with 235/75 Michelin LTX M/S 2 tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The bench seat is trimmed in brown cloth with vinyl sides, and interior amenities include a brown vinyl floor liner, a digital clock, a Kenwood eXcelon CD stereo, Pioneer speakers, and air conditioning. There are tears on the left side of the seat base and on the headliner near the right sun visor.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 104k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. The ignition lock cylinder and headlight switch were replaced after the truck was broken into in 2025, and the steering column covers are missing.

The turbocharged and fuel-injected 2.4L 22R-TE inline-four was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque. Fluid services were performed in May 2023.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The muffler is loose and rattles under acceleration.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report.
