MANILA, Philippines — According to AZBilliards, Biado’s winnings for 2025 included the World Pool Championships in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last July, where he won $250,000 for being the tournament’s champion for the second time in his career, after defeating then defending champion Fedor Gorst 15-13 in the final,
Biado’s other win was the 2025 Reyes Cup, where he earned $20,000, as part of Team Asia, that included Johann Chua, AJ Manas, captain Francisco “Django” Bustamante, Duong Quoc Hoang, and Aloysius Yapp.
Back in November, he was also inducted into the Billiard Congress of America (BCA), being one of six Filipinos among the members of the prestigious group.
Behind Biado in the money list was Yapp, who earned $301,450 in winnings, while Gorst placed third with $284,220. Joshua Filler ($274,116) and all time earner Shane van Boening ($179,775) completed this year’s top 5.
Jonas Magpantay was the second highest Filipino earner, having won a total of $106,750, most of it coming from being the champion of the Qatar World Cup 10-Ball this year.
Johann Chua was the third highest among the Filipino men, earning $102,000, having won the 2025 Knight Shot 9-Ball Open, the 2025 Battle of the Bull, and being part of the 2025 Reyes Cup with Biado.
Meanwhile, in the women’s category, Chezka Centeno, thanks to her championships in the 2025 Indonesia Mixed Doubles Open and the WPA Women’s World 10-Ball Championships, was the third highest winnings earner for the women, winning a total of $106,019, behind Jasmin Ouschan ($106,336) and top earner Seo Seoa ($122,170).
