MANILA, Philippines — Filipino cue artists Dennis Orcollo, Reyna Maria Legaspi and Carmille Buhat started their campaigns strong at the 2025 JOY Heyball Masters Nanning Station in China.
In their opening rounds on Friday, the trio defeated several Chinese opponents, with Orcollo beating Zhu Hongming 7–3, Legaspi defeating Huang Yong 7–5, while Buhat dominating Dao Damudingjiamuqi 7-2.
As of posting time, Orcollo will face off against Sato Chiaki, Legaspi against Sun Jung-Tse, and Buhat against Julian Serradilla.
A win will secure them a spot in the Top 48 of the International Group, while a loss sends them to the losers’ bracket.
