MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Carla Abellana has tied the knot with her non-showbiz partner, Dr. Reginald Santos, in an intimate wedding ceremony held Saturday.
Photos of the wedding, shared by GMA News on social media, showed Abellana wearing a white gown as she exchanged vows with Santos in a low-key celebration attended by close family and friends.
The wedding comes weeks after Abellana confirmed her engagement. Earlier this month, she posted a photo on Instagram showing a diamond ring on her finger while holding a mystery man’s hand.
She captioned the post with three white hearts and the Bible verse, “Jeremiah 29:11: ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’
Prior to the ceremony, Abellana hosted a bridal shower at a dermatology clinic in Parañaque.
Abellana was previously married to actor Tom Rodriguez. They wed in 2021 and finalized their divorce in 2022.
She is currently appearing in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins.”
