These illuminated Audi signs display the company’s four-ring logo and script. Each is illuminated by LED fixtures powered by 12-volt wiring, a transformer, and a plug adapter for use in North America. Construction consists of metal frames and translucent plastic faces. Acquired by the seller in 2020, these signs are now offered at no reserve in Dundee, Illinois.
The four interlinked rings represent the four German companies that amalgamated into Audi AG in 1932: Audi, DKW, Horch, and Wanderer. The rings for this sign have a chrome-effect finish, and they are mounted to a silver panel with red Audi script. The sign measures 44.5″ wide by 37″ tall by 3″ deep.
The letters measure 60″ wide by 16″ tall by 6″ deep.
LED fixtures housed within each enclosure are powered by 12-volt wiring, a voltage transformer, and a plug adapter for use with US-style outlets.
There are pre-drilled mounting brackets on the backs of the frames.
