MANILA, Philippines — The romance drama “I’mPerfect,” written and directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, led the winners at the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal, winning Best Picture during the awards night held Dec. 27 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City.
The inclusive film, which centers on the romantic relationship between two adults with Down syndrome, also earned Best Actress for Krystel Go and Best Ensemble.
“I’mPerfect” was followed by “UnMarry,” which placed second for Best Picture, while “Manila’s Finest” and “Call Me Mother” tied for third.
The annual awards ceremony honors outstanding Filipino films and artists before the Metro Manila Film Festival opens in cinemas nationwide.

The 51st MMFF runs through January 14, 2026.
