This lot includes a reproduction neon Sinclair sign in the shape of the company’s dinosaur logo as well as a refurbished oil tank. The sign displays Sinclair and Dino lettering, and the neon tubes are powered by two 120-volt power cords. The oil tank has Sinclair decals, a wooden crank handle knob, and a rubber hose. Acquired by the seller in September 2025, this neon Sinclair sign and oil tank are now offered at no reserve in Dundee, Illinois.
The sign displays the Sinclair and Dino wordmarks in red, with the dinosaur outlined in white on a green background. The red, white, and green neon tubing has 120-volt wiring, with two cords, inline switches, and three-prong wall plugs.
The support structure consists of a black-finished metal housing, and the back features pre-drilled mounting brackets. The sign measures ~60″ wide x 32″ tall x 6.5″ deep.
The oil pump was repainted in green with a red top, handle, and feet. Decals were then applied to the side. A wooden knob accents the handle, and a rubber hose exits from the top. The tank is ~32″ tall x 17″ wide x 10″ deep.
