MANILA, Philippines — Marikina City will stage a free year-end concert and grand fireworks display at the Marikina Sports Center on December 30, Mayor Marjorie Ann “Maan” Teodoro announced on Monday.
The city government said the concert will feature special guests Juan Karlos, Zack Tabudlo, Eliza Maturan, Mauie Francisco, One Verse, and Weejah.
Teodoro said the event reflects the city’s long-standing tradition of coming together before the year ends.
“It is already our tradition before the year ends to gather, jam, and have fun together because in Marikina there is joy, care, and hope,” she said.
The city government said gates will open at 3 p.m. followed by a pre-show at 4 p.m. The main show is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
