2017 Thor Outlaw 37RB Motorhome & Toy Hauler

This Thor Outlaw 37RB motorhome was built on a 2017 Ford F-53 chassis by Thor Motor Coach of Elkhart, Indiana, and was purchased by the current owner in 2020. The layout features an enclosed garage compartment at the rear as well as living quarters that have a lounge area with a lounge area with a loft, a cab-over bunk, a dinette, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The coach is finished in black with custom gold vinyl Equipe Woodhouse Racing Team livery, and power is from a 6.8-liter V10 linked with a six-speed automatic transmission. A slide-out is positioned on the street side, and other features include a rear liftgate and ramp, frameless side windows, Rotocast storage compartments, an automatic leveling system, SumoSprings, a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer, a Winegard mobile Wi-Fi unit, and a remote fuel-filling station. Shore connections, holding tanks, and a 5.5kW Onan generator are also installed. Amenities inside include composite countertops, ducted climate control, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, and three flat-screen TVs. This Thor Outlaw motorhome is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in black with custom gold vinyl Equipe Woodhouse Racing Team livery. Equipment includes a street-side slide-out, camp-side entry door, power-operated boarding steps, Rotocast storage compartments, and frameless side windows. A secondary entry door is positioned on the camp side along with a power patio awning with integrated LED lighting. A remote fuel-filling station is located at the left rear and has a pump, a nozzle, a fuel-level gauge, and an emergency cutoff switch. A quick-disconnect fitting for the propane tank was installed in 2020. The rear features a Drop-Down Zero-G Ramp Door, snap-in patio system, and power patio awning. The seller notes a dent in the tailgate and some corrosion is present on the chrome finishes. Some additional blemishes may be viewed in the gallery below. Service in 2020 included resealing the roof and replacing the running light lenses.

Aluminum 22.5″ wheels wear 255/80 Michelin XRV tires that show 2015 production date codes. The coach is equipped with automatic leveling jacks with touchpad controls, and the Ford F-53 chassis rides on solid axles and rear leaf springs and features a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,000 lbs. Suspension modifications installed in 2020 include front and rear SumoSprings and a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer. An Onan 5.5kW generator is secured in an equipment bay and received a service in 2020 that included a valve adjustment and replacement of the spark plug, fuel filter, and air filter. Additional infrastructure equipment includes holding tanks, four auxiliary house batteries, an 1,800-watt inverter, and connections for water, waste disposal, and 50-amp electrical service. Four 6-volt Interstate house batteries were installed in November 2024. A replacement Shurflo Revolution house water pump was installed in September 2025.

The rear liftgate opens to form a loading ramp, and it can also be configured as a porch with side rails.

The cab houses reclining and swiveling captain’s chairs trimmed in beige leatherette complemented by a beige dash, and engine cover console. Other features include sliding side windows, a retractable work surface ahead of the right seat, and air conditioning in addition to cruise control, a reverse-view camera, and a touchscreen infotainment system. A 90-inch privacy shade was installed in 2022, and the dash A/C heater valve was replaced in 2020. A removable table can be positioned aft of the front seats. A replacement driver-side mirror was installed in September 2025, while the passenger-side mirror glass is damaged.

The multi-function steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, supplementary gauges, and an accessory switch panel. The digital odometer indicates 14k miles.

The living quarters are outfitted with woodgrain vinyl flooring, privacy blinds, recessed lighting, storage cabinets, and ducted climate control. The forward lounge area houses a cab-over bunk on a power-operated lift. The dinette has bench seating and a table that can be lowered to form a sleeping surface. The loft area houses two twin beds and privacy roller shades. A faulty GFI outlet was replaced in 2022.

The kitchenette has a composite countertop, a three-burner propane range, a Whirlpool refrigerator and a microwave oven. The kitchen sink was resealed in 2022. The bathroom is located across the walkway and houses a vanity, a shower with a tethered sprayer, a toilet, and a power-operated ceiling vent. The coach is equipped with Xantrex power management, and panels for monitoring and controlling house systems are positioned beside the bathroom door. The refrigerator was replaced with a stainless steel Whirlpool model in September of 2025, at which time a Thetford Style II toilet was installed.

The garage area has a 2,500-lb capacity and is outfitted with diamond plate textured flooring, woodgrain cabinets, anchor tracks, a winch, and a power-operated ceiling vent. The winch was installed in 2020, at which time the factory step was removed, the framework was reinforced, and a diamond plate cover was fitted. Two opposing jack-knife sofas can be stowed away when not in use. The bed-side cabinet was rebuilt in 2020, and the passenger-side upper garage door lock actuator was replaced in 2022. A sliding door on the forward bulkhead leads to the living quarters.

The chassis is equipped with a dually rear axle, and the 6.8-liter Triton V10 sends power to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes some rust is present on mechanical components as well as the underside. The engine oil was changed in January 2024. Additional service under current ownership included replacing three hydraulic leveling lines and repairing the fuel pump safety cutoff wiring.
