Subscribers can use the platform to explore just about anything they might be interested in with the help of some of the best instructors on any online learning platform we’ve tested. All annual plans are currently 50% off during the current MasterClass New Year sale. We have been informed that this discount will last through January 8, despite the website stating the offer expires on New Year’s Eve.

During the sale, the Standard MasterClass subscription is now $60, the Plus subscription is $96, and the Premium subscription is $120 for your first year. While many MasterClass sales only include individual subscriptions, this 50% off promotion also applies to gift memberships, so it’s a great time to secure a thoughtful gift for someone else.

All three annual memberships give you access to over 200 online courses, but the number of devices you can use to view them varies by plan. You get one device with the Standard plan, two with the Plus plan, and six with the Premium plan. Additionally, the Plus and Premium plans have offline compatibility, while the Standard plan does not. For most people, we imagine the cheapest tier is just fine.

We particularly love MasterClass for picking up creative skills, but the available courses cover nearly any topic you can think of.
