Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to adhere strictly to election rules in the 2027 general election.
Obi made this call on Wednesday during his defection in Enugu.
DAILY POST reports that Obi officially defected from the Labour Party, LP, to the coalition-backed African Democratic Congress, ADC.
“We urge INEC to adhere strictly to all electoral rules in the forthcoming elections, beginning with educational qualifications.
“Nigerians should not be questioning whether a candidate attended school,” he said.
