This 1964 Lincoln Continental is a black-on-red sedan that spent more than two decades with its prior owner before being acquired by the current owner on BaT in July 2022. Power is provided by a 430ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is equipped with power steering, power-assisted brakes, 15″ steel wheels, and polished wheel covers. Inside, features include a power-adjustable front bench seat, a Cartier electric clock, power windows, and a push-button radio. This Continental sedan is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Utah title.
The car is finished in black, and exterior details include rear-hinged rear doors, a driver-side mirror, a retractable antenna, a Lincoln hood ornament, and chrome bumpers, window surrounds, and trim. The right rear door was reportedly damaged and repaired under previous ownership.
Steel 15″ wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with whitewall tires. Power steering was standard, and braking is provided by power-assisted front and rear drums. The tires and struts are reportedly in need of replacement.
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in red leather, and appointments include a power-adjustable front seat, push-button radio, Cartier electric clock, and heater as well as front lap belts, power door locks, and power windows. The air conditioning and driver-side wing window switch do not work.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership.
The 430ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock 800-cfm carburetor and was rated at 320 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. A leak at the oil pan gasket is noted.
The engine is backed by a three-speed automatic transmission.
