This 1974 Volkswagen Type 2 camper was purchased by the seller from a friend in 2010. Finished in red and white over gray cloth upholstery, the vehicle is powered by a 1,794cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, dual carburetors, electronic ignition, a pop-up top, dual side mirrors, a folding bed, and a cabin heater. Showing 56k miles, this Type 2 is offered at no reserve with service records, speaker boxes, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
The bus is finished in red and white and features a pop-up top with a bed platform along with headlight visors, dual side mirrors, tinted windows, and painted bumpers. Steel 14″ wheels with hubcaps are wrapped in 195/75 Yokohama Super Van 356 tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. Work in 2018 included machining the rotors and drums, replacing the brake master cylinder, and replacing the brake hoses, wheel cylinders, and wheel bearings.
The front bucket seats are upholstered in gray cloth, and additional appointments include gray carpeting, a cabin heater, and a push-button AM radio that is not connected.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 90-mph VDO speedometer and an inaccurate fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 1,794cc flat-four was fitted with a PerTronix electronic-ignition unit and electric-choke Kadron 40mm carburetors in 2018. Additional work at that time included addressing oil leaks and replacing the alternator, ignition coil, voltage regulator, fuel hoses, and engine mounts, along with the battery and its tray.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The clutch was replaced in 2018 at 54k miles, and the flywheel was resurfaced.
