This 1:6-scale model of a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette was produced by Highway 61 Collectibles and was acquired by the seller in 2009. The model is constructed of metal and plastic and is finished in red with white coves over a red interior. Features include front and rear bumperettes, wide whitewall tires, an antenna, a detailed engine compartment, and a hinged hood, trunk, and doors. Per the seller, 400 examples of this model were produced in 2008. This C1 scale model is offered at no reserve in Rouen, France.

The first-generation Chevrolet Corvette debuted in 1953 and remained in production until 1962. The metal body of this 1:6 scale model is finished in red with white coves and is outfitted with a hinged hood, trunk, and doors. Additional details include bright trim, front and rear bumperettes, wiper arms, a driver’s-side mirror, a telescoping antenna, and “Fuel Injection” badging. A removable fuel filler cap is concealed behind a hinged cover.

Red-finished wheels wear bright covers with simulated two-eared knock-offs and are wrapped in faux Firestone wide whitewall tires.

The interior features red seats along with color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Features include a white dash panel, a central speedometer, center-mounted gauges, a dash-mounted mirror, a faux push-button radio, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a floor shifter with a cue ball-style grip. The side windows can be raised using the hand cranks.

Engine compartment details include bright valve covers with the Corvette script, radiator hoses, a cooling fan, a faux Rochester fuel injection unit, and an open-element air cleaner.

The underside is outfitted with exhaust system components, a drive shaft, and suspension equipment.

A spare, a cargo floor, and a mat are stowed in the trunk and are included in the sale.
