This 1966 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside is a short-bed pickup that was acquired by the current owner in 2016 and has since been refurbished and modified. It is powered by an overhauled 350ci V8 equipped with an eight-stack fuel injection system and linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end with 3.07:1 gears. The truck is finished in red over beige vinyl upholstery and rides on 18″ US Mags wheels with a CPP Grand Slam lowering kit. Additional equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, a wood-lined bed, power steering, a dual exhaust system, and an AM radio. This C10 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with refurbishment invoices and a Washington title.
The truck received replacement body panels such as the hood, tailgate, door shells, and front fenders before it was refinished in red circa 2017. The truck features a Fleetside short bed as well as a wood plank bed floor, vent windows, and a driver-side mirror. Other work in 2017 involved re-chroming the window sills and refinishing the wood bed floor.
The 18″ US Mags wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle Sport tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the truck has been lowered using a CPP Grand Slam Performance kit, utilizing 2″ drop spindles and coil springs. CPP traction bars and tubular trailing arms have been installed along with a power steering system.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in beige vinyl, and interior appointments include a driver-side armrest, a push-button AM radio, and a cabin heater.
The wood-rimmed two-spoke steering wheel frames replacement gauges, including a 100-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer along with auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 222 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was rebuilt with a replacement block and other components in 2017. It has been fitted with a Speedmaster Downdraft electronic fuel injection system with eight-stack individual throttle bodies along with a Holley Terminator X engine management system, finned valve covers, and tubular headers. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear axle with 3.07:1 gears. A dual exhaust system with an X-pipe has been installed. The frame has been C-notched and powder coated.
