This 1971 Honda CT70 Trail was refurbished circa February 2025, with work that is said to have involved repainting the bike in Candy Gold with black and white graphics as well as overhauling the 72cc four-stroke single. The bike is further equipped with a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, a kick starter, a CHP Motorsports carburetor, an upswept exhaust system, bright case covers, an inverted fork, dual rear shocks, drum brakes, 10″ multi-piece wheels, a black vinyl-upholstered seat, a right-side grab handle, trail lighting, chrome-finished high-mount fenders, twist-locking folding handlebars, and a side stand. Acquired by the seller in 2025, this CT70 Trail is offered in California at no reserve for off-road use only on a bill of sale.
The hollow T-bone frame was refinished in Candy Gold with black and white Honda decals as part of the refurbishment. The black vinyl-upholstered seat wears a plastic film cover, and additional features include a right-side grab handle, trail lighting, chrome-finished high-mount fenders, and a side stand.
Multi-piece 10″ wheels with bright rims and silver-finished centers are wrapped in Bridgestone Trail Wing tires. Suspension consists of an inverted fork with rubber gaiters in addition to a swingarm damped by dual shocks with body-color partial shrouds. Braking is handled by drums at both ends.
Twist-locking folding handlebars frame a Nippon Seiki 50-mph speedometer that indicates recommended shift points. The five-digit odometer was reset as part of the refurbishment, and it shows under one mile.
