This 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 shows 89k miles after time in California, Alaska, and Washington. It is finished in Silver Metallic over striped gray cloth and powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes an Old Man Emu 2.5″ suspension lift, front disc brakes, 15″ wagon-style steel wheels, air conditioning, and a push-button AM/FM radio. Purchased by the seller in 2023, this FJ60 is offered with an owner’s manual, a Carfax report, and a California title.
The truck is finished in Silver Metallic (147) and features chrome bumpers with black end caps as well as dual round headlights, sport side mirrors, rear window tint, mud flaps, and a split tailgate. A January 2004 entry on the Carfax report lists an accident with another vehicle and notes damage to the front. The paint is faded, and the windshield is cracked.
The 15″ wagon-style steel wheels were powder-coated white with red and blue pinstriping and mounted with 33×10.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires in October 2024. The truck has been fitted with an Old Man Emu 2.5″ suspension lift, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and folding rear bench are upholstered in striped gray cloth with vinyl sides and backing. Replacement gray carpeting lines the floor, and interior appointments include a push-button AM/FM radio, a center console, and a rear window defroster. The air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant in August 2024. The dashboard is cracked.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 89k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. There is rust on the undercarriage, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery below.
