MANILA, Philippines — The local currency hit a new record low of P59.355 on Wednesday.
The local currency closed at P59.355:$1, down 14 and a half centavos from Tuesday’s P59.21. It opened trading at P59.24:$1 and moved within a range of P59.2 to P59.38, with total volume reaching P1.316 billion, down from the previous P1.385 billion.
