This Porsche Tequipment Roof Tent was developed at the Weissach Development Centre and co-designed by Studio F.A. Porsche in Zell am See as an accessory for Porsche cars. The tent was shipped to Porsche Lehi in Utah in 2023, and the seller has had it since April 2025. The factory shipping box was opened to photograph the tent in preparation for the sale. The tent is now offered at no reserve in Costa Mesa, California.

The two-person tent is protected by a gray-and-black hard-shell case with matte-black Porsche script. The tent is designed to attach to a roof transport system, and is compatible with Porsche 911, Cayenne, Macan, Panamera, and Taycan models. It is not intended to work with the 911 GT, Cabriolet, or Targa models.

Lockable latches secure the shell in the closed position. Two gas pressure shock absorbers assist with opening the lid. The tent’s fold-out section is stabilized by the integrated telescoping ladder. Four spring rods support the tent canopy.

The tent walls are constructed of a breathable cotton blend. Details include waterproof zips, a removable rain cover for the entry hatch, a Skyview roof window, and two side windows with integrated insect guards and blackout curtains. The windows on the side walls are designed to mimic the lines of a Porsche 911, and a mountain silhouette accents the head wall. Once extended, an integrated high-density polyfoam mattress with a quilted cover lines the floor, measuring approximately 86″ by 51″.

The assembly weighs approximately 128 pounds, and Porsche recommends a maximum speed of 80 mph with the roof tent installed. The folded tent measures approximately 57″ long by 55″ wide by 13″ tall. The extended tent is around 101″ long by 101″ wide by 46″ tall. The tent can support approximately 419 pounds when installed on a car with roof rails, or approximately 309 pounds when installed on a vehicle without roof rails.
