This 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra convertible was initially delivered to Paul Heuring Motors of Hobart, Indiana, and it shows 49k miles following history with one family since new. The car was ordered with the Electronics/Leather Trim Group, which added a Mach 460 sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and front sport seats with leather upholstery. Finished in Laser Red Tinted Clearcoat, additional details include a 4.6-liter V8, a BBK air-intake system, a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, a rear spoiler, 17″ five-spoke wheels, and remote keyless entry. This Mustang SVT Cobra convertible is now offered in Wisconsin by the selling dealer at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and an Illinois title.

The SVT Cobra featured Cobra-logo fender badges and a revised front bumper cover when compared to the contemporary Mustang GT. This example is finished in Laser Red Tinted Clearcoat (E9) and was ordered with an optional rear spoiler, while additional exterior details include a power-retractable black convertible soft top, power-adjustable side mirrors, fog lights, hood vents, and dual exhaust outlets. A photograph of a dent is shown in the gallery below.

The 17″ five-spoke wheels have SVT-branded center caps and are mounted with Road Hugger tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Cobra-branded front calipers.

The cabin features front sport seats upholstered in Black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Interior amenities include dual front airbags, a Mach 460 sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a CD changer, remote keyless entry, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows and locks.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 49k miles.

The 4.6-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. A BBK air-intake system has been installed, an oil change was carried out in the fall of 2025, and the battery was recently replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T45 five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Paul Heuring Motors of Hobart, Indiana, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total of $30,190.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
The Illinois title carries a “Corrected” notation under the Title Type section.
