This Chevrolet Corvette C2 chassis and drivetrain was purchased by the seller in 2023. The black-finished frame carries a 307ci V8, a four-speed manual transmission, a fuel tank, steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and steering and suspension components. This C2 Corvette chassis and drivetrain is now offered at no reserve in California with two hoods and a bill of sale.
A 1967 body was reportedly fitted to the frame when it was purchased by the seller, and it was subsequently removed for use on another project. Repairs to the frame are evident, photos of which can be viewed in the gallery below.
Non-Corvette steel wheels are mounted with older tires. Additional equipment includes a front and rear independent suspension setup as well as four-wheel disc brakes.
The 307ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and finned aluminum valve covers. The engine has not been started under current ownership, and the condition of the engine and transmission is unknown.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The engine stamping is shown above. The TAS suffix corresponds with a 200-horsepower, 307ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.
No frame number is present, and the seller states it was removed during the frame repairs. There is no title or registration, and it will be sold with a bill of sale only.
