1973 Datsun 240Z 4-Speed

This 1973 Datsun 240Z is said to have remained in the care of a single family since new, changed hands in 2023, and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Finished in green over red upholstery, the car is powered by a 2.4-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It rolls on 14″ wheels and is further equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes, front and rear bumper guards, fender-mounted mirrors, a push-button AM/FM radio, and a woodgrain steering wheel. This 240Z is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Georgia title.

The car is said to have been delivered from the factory in white and was repainted green approximately 15 years ago. Details include fender-mounted side mirrors, Z badging on the C-pillars, bright window trim, and chrome-finished bumpers. Scratches are noted on various panels, and the left headlight is misaligned.

Silver-finished 14″ four-spoke wheels are wrapped in 195/70 Mohave R/A tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent suspension, a front stabilizer bar, and rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The struts and tie-rod assemblies were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in red vinyl with cloth inserts, and interior appointments include a push-button AM/FM radio, a wooden shift knob, a center console, a lockable glovebox, and an electric rear window defogger.

The woodgrain steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. An analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level are housed over the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 2,500 miles.

The 2.4-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual side-draft carburetors and was rated at 151 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch is said to have been replaced, and the valve cover gaskets were replaced in preparation for the sale.
