BUA Chairman Rabiu Pledges $1.5 Million Bonus to Super Eagles

Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist, Abdul Samad Rabiu
CFR, CON, has announced a generous cash reward for the Super Eagles following
their qualification for the semi-finals after a 2–0 victory over Algeria.

 

Rabiu, who is also the Chairman of BUA Group, congratulated
the players for their outstanding performance, describing the win as a moment
that lifted the spirit of the nation.

 

In a statement, he pledged USD $500,000 to the team should
they win their semi-final match, with an additional USD $50,000 for every goal
scored in that encounter.

 

The industrialist further disclosed that if the Super Eagles
go on to win the final, he would reward them with USD $1,000,000, plus an extra
USD $100,000 for each goal scored in the final.

 

“You have lifted the spirit of the nation, and we proudly
cheer you on as you prepare for the semi-finals,” Rabiu said, urging the
players to keep making Nigeria proud.

 

The Super Eagles booked their semi-final spot after a
dominant 2–0 victory over Algeria, a result that has rekindled hopes of
continental success among Nigerian football fans.

 

With Rabiu’s pledge serving as additional motivation, the
team now sets its sights on the semi-finals as they continue their quest for
silverware.
