This 1984 Cadillac Seville was purchased new from Faulkner Cadillac of Trevose, Pennsylvania, in February 1984, and it is said to have remained with its original owner until the seller purchased the car in May 2025. Finished in two-tone black and white with a cabriolet-style black roof over black button-tufted leather upholstery, the vehicle is powered by a fuel-injected 4.1-liter V8 that sends power to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes wire-style wheel covers, disc brakes, “Roadster” badging, a power antenna, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, an onboard computer, and Twilight Sentinel light control. The body fillers were replaced under current ownership, as were the fuel pump, battery, shift-linkage bushings, and hood and deck-lid struts. Now showing 10k miles, this Seville is offered with manufacturer’s literature, 1984 purchase paperwork, a Carfax report, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black and white with a cabriolet-style black roof covering and red pinstriping. Additional features include bustleback styling, quad headlamps, a grille ornament, dual side mirrors, a power antenna, “Roadster” badging, bright trim, and chrome bumpers. Replacement bumper-adjacent body fillers were painted and installed under current ownership. The seller notes that crazing of the black lacquer on the top of the deck lid and the hood is visible in certain lighting conditions and also that previously applied monograms have been removed via compound and wax.
Steel 15″ wheels with wire covers are mounted with 225/70 Goodyear Polysteel radial whitewall tires, which the seller states have never been replaced. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at each corner, and the seller notes that the brakes feel soft.
Button-tufted black leather lines the power-adjustable front seats and the rear bench, and woodgrain trim is found throughout the cabin. Additional appointments include a digital AM/FM/cassette stereo, an onboard computer, Twilight Sentinel light control, interior courtesy lighting, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, Cadillac-crest carpeted floor mats, and a power pull-down feature for the trunk lid. The air conditioning does not blow cold.
The woodgrain-accented steering wheel sits on a tilting/telescoping column and frames an 85-mph speedometer, warning lights, and a gauge for fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. The accompanying Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency in 2007, when an odometer reading of 9,753 was reported following a reading of 10,000 in 1997.
The fuel-injected 4.1-liter V8 was rated at 135 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller had the fuel pump and the battery replaced along with the struts for the hood and the deck lid.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transaxle. The bushings for the shifter linkage were replaced under current ownership.
A build sheet, an order form, and purchase and warranty paperwork from 1984 will accompany the vehicle.
The Carfax report notes the aforementioned mileage inconsistency.
