This 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe is a non-running project that is said to have been operating on the highway in late 2025 when the engine blew white smoke and stopped running. Finished in Lapis Blue Metallic over gray leather, the car is equipped with a 3.4-liter M96 flat-six paired with a five-speed automatic transaxle. Features include 18″ alloy wheels, body-color headlight covers, a sunroof, a deployable rear spoiler, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, power windows, and an Alpine touchscreen infotainment system. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this 996.1 project shows 121k miles and is offered at no reserve with a tool kit, a Carfax report, and a duplicate California title.
The car is finished in Lapis Blue Metallic (L3A8). Exterior details include integrated fog lights, body-color headlight covers, a sunroof, a deployable rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. The Carfax report indicates that “minor damage” to the rear of the vehicle resulted from an incident in January 2010.
Black-finished 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ControlContact tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners, and the front rotors and front and rear pads were replaced in 2024.
The power-adjustable front seats and folding individual rear seats are upholstered in gray leather. Appointments include automatic climate control, all-weather floor mats, and a Bluetooth-capable Alpine touchscreen infotainment system. Wear is visible on the switchgear, shift knob, driver seat, and rear parcel shelf carpet.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is worn and frames a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 121k miles.
The 3.4-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. An LN Engineering single-row IMS bearing was installed in December 2014, and work since 2021 included replacing the following components:
- Oxygen sensor
- Thermostat
- Water pump
- Coolant reservoir
- Ignition coils
- Spark plugs
- Camshaft seals

The car cannot pass a California emissions test in its current configuration. Therefore, it cannot be sold to an in-state private-party buyer. The current California title is a duplicate.
