2004 Mercedes-Benz E500 4MATIC Wagon at No Reserve

This 2004 Mercedes-Benz E500 4MATIC wagon spent time in New Hampshire and Texas before it was sold on BaT in September 2021, relocated to New York, and purchased by its current owner on BaT in June 2023. The car has 70k miles and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 that drives all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Capri Blue Metallic over Pacific Blue leather, it is equipped with xenon headlights, a sunroof, 17″ split-spoke alloy wheels, Airmatic suspension, heated and ventilated dynamic front seats, fold-down third-row seating, navigation, Keyless-Go, a Harman Kardon sound system, a CD stereo, and four-zone automatic climate control. Work under current ownership included changing the oil and transfer-case fluid and replacing the front axles along with the brake rotors and pads. This E500 4MATIC wagon is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its owner with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a New York title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Capri Blue Metallic (359) and features bi-xenon headlights with washers as well as a power-operated glass sunroof, a rear window wiper, roof rails, fog lights, tinted windows, and power-adjustable heated mirrors with integrated turn signals. The hatch struts were replaced in October 2025. The seller notes torn side-mirror seals and lifted paint-protection film. Close-up photos of the finish and trim are provided in the gallery below, as are those showing paint-meter readings.

Silver-finished 17″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 245/45 Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires produced in 2022. The car was factory-equipped with Airmatic self-leveling suspension, and Arnott air shocks were installed under prior ownership. Braking is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the pads and rotors were replaced in October 2025.

The heated and ventilated dynamic front seats, along with the split-folding rear bench, are upholstered in Pacific Blue leather, and wood veneer trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments include four-zone automatic climate control, Keyless-Go, a Harman Kardon sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The soft-touch surface around the headlight switch is worn, and the individual overhead-light controls do not work. The left-rear door handle was replaced in April 2025, and the center-console trim was reattached in October 2025. Upholstery and carpeting blemishes are depicted in the gallery.

The rear-facing bench seat stows flat into the cargo area floor, and the car is equipped with a retractable cargo cover.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 64k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The oil was most recently changed in October 2025. An oil leak is noted at the right-side valve cover.

Power is routed to all four wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. The front axle assemblies were replaced in April 2025, and the transfer-case fluid was changed the following October.

The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.

The car’s New York title is a duplicate.
