With more and more manufacturers putting considerable time and development towards more modernized backup power solutions, we’ve managed to see some pretty cool developments in recent years. One example is Anker, which recently announced the new SOLIX E10, a new addition to its SOLIX power backup range.
Anker says that the E10 is engineered for high-demand performance, with a single unit capable of providing up to 37.2 kW of surge power with a dedicated “Turbo Output” function which can generate 10 kW of power for up to 90 minutes. Users can choose between two primary setups, which include the Power Dock with an automatic switch for every circuit in the house, or the Smart Inlet Box, a manual switchover option that also supports grid charging.
The E10 also uses a modular design with 6 kWh batteries that can be expanded up to 90 kWh across three sets; the system supports 9 kW of solar input per unit and features a DC range extension that allows the smart generator to charge the battery directly. Anker says that this direct connection increases fuel efficiency and extends backup duration fivefold compared to traditional AC generators.
As for its design, the E10 is housed in an all-metal, NEMA 4-rated chassis that’s built to withstand extreme temperatures and weather conditions. Pre-orders for the Anker SOLIX E10 are available starting today, January 12, 2026, with official sales beginning on February 4. Customers who place a $10 deposit during the pre-order period will receive a $500 discount and a package valued at over $1,500, including a 400W solar panel and a three-year warranty extension.
Pricing for the base E10 package starts at $4,299, with premium bundles including the Smart Generator and Power Dock reaching $7,399.
