This 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4×4 was acquired by the seller as a project in 2018 and subsequently fitted with a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 paired with a 4L60 four-speed automatic transmission. Replacement bucket seats trimmed in gray cloth were retrofitted along with a Sony head unit and a custom audio system, and further equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, manually locking front hubs, 15″ steel wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a removable hardtop, LED headlights, long-tube headers, a Grant steering wheel, and aftermarket instrumentation. This K5 Blazer is now offered with spare parts and a Washington State title in the seller’s name.
The truck wears two-tone gray primer and features a removable hardtop, LED headlights, a custom grille, a black front bumper, and a chrome rear bumper. The seller tells us that the front bumper and right corner were repaired, and notes rust under the driver’s door.
White-finished 15″ steel wheels are wrapped in 31×10.5″ Corsa All-Terrain XL tires. The Grant GT steering wheel sits ahead of replacement instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller notes that the odometer does not work, and total mileage is unknown.
The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was installed in 2020 as part of the build, and it is equipped with long-tube headers and an aftermarket air intake assembly. The seller tells us that the seals and gaskets have been replaced.
