This 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Racer was purchased in 2015 by its previous owner, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus, and it was acquired by the selling dealer on BaT in March 2021. Powered by an air-cooled 744cc V-twin paired with a five-speed transmission, the motorcycle features a red-finished frame and swingarm in addition to a chrome-finished fuel tank, a brown and black bump seat, and a black-finished flyscreen, tail cowl, and side panels. It is further equipped with a dry clutch, an enclosed driveshaft, Weber-Marelli electronic fuel injection, Agostini exhaust mufflers, a Marzocchi fork, a red-finished swingarm, Bitubo adjustable rear shocks, front and rear disc brakes with Brembo calipers, and laced wheels as well as an imitation tank strap, miniature LED turn signals, hand-painted spade graphics, clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors, and a side stand. Work in December 2025 included replacing the fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, and spark plugs. This V7 Racer is offered at no reserve by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a custom motorcycle mat, an electric guitar, a Guns N’ Roses-branded guitar pick, two photographs, and a clean Missouri title.
The 5.8-gallon chrome fuel tank features custom-painted matte-black accents and a riveted leather imitation hold-down strap. Additional details include a brown and black bump seat, miniature LED turn signals, perforated side panels, and a side stand. Hand-painted spade graphics on the flyscreen and side number plates are patterned after those found on a selection of Richard Fortus’s guitars, and the right-side number plate has a Richard Fortus signature.
Black-finished aluminum rims measuring 18″ up front and 17″ out back are laced to red-anodized hubs and wrapped in Pirelli Sport Demon tires. Suspension consists of a Marzocchi 40mm front fork with black accordion gaiters in addition to adjustable Bitubo remote-reservoir shocks attached to a red-finished aluminum swingarm. Braking is from a four-piston Brembo caliper mounted over a 320mm drilled disc up front as well as a two-piston Brembo caliper fitted over a 260mm drilled rotor at the rear.
Clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors are mounted beneath the upper triple clamp, which bears a serialized plaque denoting the motorcycle as V7 Racer #716. Instrumentation behind the flyscreen consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a bank of indicator lamps. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 744cc V-twin is equipped with a longitudinally oriented crankshaft, an electric starter, Weber-Marelli electronic fuel injection, four valves per cylinder, and a dual exhaust system featuring black-finished head pipes and Agostini mufflers with carbon-fiber end caps. Factory-rated output was 50 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque. The fuel tank was drained and refilled in December 2025, at which time the fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, and spark plugs were replaced. Scuffs are visible on the left-side cylinder head.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a dry clutch, a five-speed transmission, and an enclosed driveshaft.
A motorcycle mat bearing a Moto Guzzi emblem along with Guns and Roses lettering is included in the sale along with a red electric guitar, a Guns N’ Roses-branded guitar pick, a guitar stand, and two photographs.
