This 1972 Volvo 145E was purchased new by the seller’s mother on June 16, 1972, in Oregon and was inherited by the seller around 18 months ago. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter B20F inline-four linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in blue over blue vinyl. Equipment includes power-assisted disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels with hubcaps, an aftermarket cassette stereo, and a heater. In October 2024, the car received a tune-up, coolant flush, and replacement of the brake lights and battery. This 145E shows 159k miles and is now offered with records and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Sapphire Blue (108), and the seller notes that the left quarter panel was backed into around 1980 and subsequently repaired. A front-end crash around the same time necessitated the replacement of the grille and front bumper along with a repaint of the hood. Exterior details include dual side mirrors, a fender-mounted antenna, and a chrome grille surround, window surrounds, and trim. There is rust on the left quarter panel and left-rear door.
